Good news you don’t have varices.

Hope you feel better soon..
I'm fine now Phil, well as good as I ever am. I do need to speak to the GP about my appetite or lack of it. I survive quite happily on a couple of slices of toast in the morning and something equally light in the evening. That big meal screwed me up for about 24 hours, mid afternoon before I could face anything other than coffee.

I'm on omeprazole myself, one daily. I used to get fearsome acid indigestion due to all the meds I'm taking, seven pills in the morning, same in the evening.

I used to detest the camera down the throat. Last one I had I requested sedation but the guy said it wasn't as bad as it used to be . . . . like a mug I fell for it! Every bit as unpleasant as it ever was. I could have kissed the specialist (female ) when she said they were going to change my BP med to cadaverol which meant no more hosepipes down the throat.

No sign of the parcel collection yet, managed to nip to the local Coop for bread and milk.

Brilliant! Sat in all day waiting for the parcel to be collected apart from a mad dash to the Coop for bread and milk mid afternoon. Ging got home from work, I told her the parcel hadn't been picked up "oh, I forgot to say they couldn't collect it today, it'll be after the new year". Sat in all day for nothing and had to shift the bl00dy thing out of the hallway again, weighs a ton

Morning all, a dry and rather warm start to the day here.

Thoughts and prayers to Trikey for today. Sorry I can't be there or watch the live stream as I'm at work.
I will however be thinking of you today and I know Debz will get the best of send offs from you all....

Morning all.

Quite a decent start to the day up here in the North East. Temperature has crept into double figures and the sun is trying to put in an appearance.

Met up with Rich and his lovely family yesterday . Had a good chat, a lovely cuppa and Quizzie charmed her way into a few more hearts. Good to see him and see how he's coming along. Fingers crossed that the next stage goes ahead (no pun intended) in January. Cheers mate, catch up soon.

Off to Barton Upon Humber soon to pay my respects to Deb.

Take care all and look after your loved ones.

I'm in the middle of re-wrapping all the cat scratch posts with jute rope, They've destroyed them Doesn't bear thinking what the suite would look like without these things.

I can our corner sofa is all covered in claw marks where our cat has been clawing away at it, it's right at the bottom of the sofa...

Just watched Debs' service. Kind of made up for not being able to get to my aunt's funeral. Its good that Andy isn't on his own, he has Meg at his side. When I lost both parents in very quick succession we adopted their dog which, in a way, kept them with us.
