They obviously saw the potential in an early car and got it at a fair price through eBay. I know garages have lots of costs but I think the price they are asking is a little punchy.
I remember watching the video now with that car in. Thanks for checking it was a launch car. |

The Rev Fred Rich had a 2.0 V6 pre-production that he brought up to Keighley from Devon. in dark red. He put some work into it to get it reliable then looked to sell it to help fund the project of his late fathers 75 estate which he had traced and purchased. I would have taken it on but he wanted at the time a bit more than I could afford.
He advertised on the club but had no takers so it got sold locally and in Freds words to someone who has know idea what they have. I wonder if now it still exists. He told me later he would have let me have it for what I could afford if it meant it was in the hands of an enthusiast. Oh well. |

There’s a lot of talk about the connie launch cars. We are currently rebuilding one of the club launch cars.
