Thank you to everyone who gave us their advice on what could of been the issue with this car. Hopefully we will get it all sorted soon and you will all get to see it at a car meet next year.

WOW Josh, that's some breakdown.
Didn't realise there was a problem until I just read these, not being able to get around very well tendered to be stuck in one place!!

Really hope you manage to get it all sorted old son . Good luck with the repair hope all goes well.

Just another update……

Pulled the engine today…. Sadly not good news

The shells on 2,3,4 pistons had welded them selves to the con rod. Tried removing them but couldn’t.

The crank I would say could be machined but I think it’s going to easier to go down the replacement engine route and rebuild the original over time.
