Good news! I managed to undo the hot water fixing under the sink & put some fresh ptfe thread tape on it & really tighten it down, Jobs a good un.
Hi Ian, I forgot to say the reason why I wore a bag for 6 months was down to an obstruction caused by a mechanical narrowing in the neck of the bladder. I had to wait for 6 months on the NHS waiting list before a simple operation was done to widen the neck of the bladder. The procedure was carried out using a local anaesthetic gel and it was 100% successful, no more bags.

I am hoping everything goes well for your younger brother with his chemo. By coincidence, my younger brother is on a daily chemo tablet and a monthly chemo injection which he gets from his GP. This has stopped the spread of his bone cancer.

Back from the Paignton expedition. Wasn't a bad break, change of scenery at least, slightly overdosed on fish and chips! B&B was ok, Weather wasn't great though, Wednesday was good so we went Brixham, my other half is from a fishing family and wanted to tick Brixham off her bucket list after watching "Fish Town" on the telly. Got an impromptu motorcycle show coming back from Brixham, walking from the bus station to the B&B on the prom at Paignton there was a huge meeting of the Armed Forces Bikers. Saw bikes I used to have and one I had to have a closer look at, a modern Indian, never seen one in the flesh:

The girls enjoyed their holiday as well, every evening when we got back to the B&B they just crashed out, unconscious We weren't supposed to come back til today but the B&B cocked up, we could have stayed last night as well but decided to head home yesterday anyway due to the weather.

Cool

Morning everyone.

The sun is back but a autumnal chill in the air.

Guinness casserole on the go, put some diced lamb in along with all the other ingredients.

Hoping to give the cars a wash this morning.

Save water - don't use the washing machine. The washing up bowl will do!

Morning. Still recovering from the holiday! Catching up on sleep, wasn't the most comfortable bed in the B&B, the girls were the same, in no hurry to get up.

Unlike the last few days it has been lovely here with lots of warm autumn sunshine.

Fliss decided to have a duvet day in the bedroom with the sun pouring in through the window
