New plate looks great. I'm always jealous when I see that placement of the Rover badge on the boot. Looks much better IMO. Is that a cowley thing?

Looks great. Like the number plates. I hate to see cars restored an a fortune spent only to spoil the effect with post 2001 typeface on the number plates on pre 2001 cars. Especially when silver on black! Yours are spot on. I'm in the market for a rear smiley would you mind saying who made yours? Cheers

Yep, changed to the all in one plinth at Longbridge. You can change the plinth to a Cowley one with "ROVER" on

Perhaps in the future. I've already removed my plinth once to put a new badge on it (nowhere to plug in a hairdryer down at the car ) so I feel I should enjoy the fruits of my labour for a while

Flew through the MOT today with no advisories. Very pleased with that.
Tester let me go under whilst it was in the air, hardly any rust at all,
inner sills very good, outer sills just a slight discolouration of the black paint.

Do you know any of the history with this car are I have one ending in LOE and that is a factory reg number and I would 99% say This is a factory reg number.

No , not exclusively My '51 reg Longbridge model has that boot badge
