Where would the club and is members be without MarinaBrian and the others who help out in these situations with their outstanding technical knowledge.

Can a nice big hole be cut just infont of the ECU, in the bulkhead between the plenum and engine bay, near the bottom of the plenum chamber to let the dirth water drain out into the engine bay ????
just a thought people.

Pete.

Arctic's spyhole mod makes checking a matter of minutes.

By the way Andy, consider your wrists well and truly slapped, lol
Don't know about you but I'm getting severe Nano meet and social night withdrawal symptoms

I have a piece of canvas that used to be used for making the canvas tops for Land Rovers which I cover my windscreen up with in the winter. It stretches from about a foot on the top of the roof to a foot onto the bonnet. So when I remove it like today, no snow to get in the plenum and melt. Once warmed up, I would think the heat from the engine melts anything in the plenum. It covers the two jets for the windscreen washer also, so they work ok.

To be fair to Andy, he probably would been okay if his ECM had been refitted correctly by the last person to have removed it from the plenum, rather than simply allowing it to hang from it's cables.

Anyway his ECM is now repaired and currently coded to the ZT on test, so all is well that ends well

I met Quizzie last year when Andy was visiting his other son down the road from me. She’s lovely .

Nope.

Long story involving son arriving home to find daughter in law lying quadriplegic and without speech with their 15 month old toddling around her.

We're his care bubble anyway.

All, thankfully, on the mend now.

Take care.
