Default Battery failure causing issues

Over the last 2 weeks I have had to isolate as my Daughter caught COVID at work.

Went out on Thursday and battery was dead

Got it started with a jump an took for a run around but not enough as next time I tried to start it it was dead again.

Have put on a charger for most of the day and started fine tonight however clock is not working and driver seat electrics not working although passenger seat is!

All other electrics seem to be fine, radio, wipers mirrors and windows all Ok.

Possible fuse or fuses gone?

Hi Stubs,

You'll need to use the charger for at least 24 hours, preferably longer. Don't keep starting the engine unless you're going on a long journey. Instead, keep your smart charger connected to the battery to maintain it at full charge.

Did you charge it ON or OFF the car ??

If ON the car then disconnect the negative lead for 1/2 an hour or so.---Might reset the ECU and get rid of the problems you're having.---

The clock and the memory seats share the same fuse, I'd look there first if I were you.

Hi Stubs,

The fuse blew for a reason. From what you've said, I'd be doing a careful examination of the wiring under the seat.
