Well done one and all for passing the new club eye sight test, very impressive .

For the few who didn't spot it, it's the plate on the fuse box lid. When I first had it made up, I had the cars reg. number put on at the top, but within a couple of days or so wished I'd used the VIN instead. So, for my birthday, Mrs Teflon stumped up the cost of a new plate .

As an aside, when I went to collect the new plate this morning, this was parked at the entrance to the trading estate:

Long time since I saw the police using Rovers, but all was clear when I got to the engravers. Next door was a company called "999 Hire" and they had a fleet of police cars parked up - mainly old Fords (Granada and the like) with a couple of Volvos.

I can remember you saying you wish you'd done it differently after you'd got it done.
Glad it's now the way you wanted it.

The right angle bends of the thick and thin a/c pipes are being rubbed by the bonnet insulation (near the O/S upper engine mount) - eventually, a hole will be worn through and they will burst and leak. Best to add a bit of tape on the pipes, to protect them, before that happens.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I know what you mean, but worry not, it's just the way the light is reflecting off the bend in the photos. I'm aware it's a common issue (the rubbing), so it's something I keep a close eye on .

Sorry. The ‘information’was the clue that I had got it. Took me about two seconds when I took my glasses off. I am short sighted and when my glasses are off, my eyes are like a magnifying glass. Doubt I would have got it with them on.
