I'm at a total loss for words. I met Freddie, along with Steve (w44nty) and Jeff (coolcat) whilst we were on holiday in Norfolk a couple of years ago. He was the epitome of a true English gentleman - and VERY knowledgeable when it came to Rovers. He chatted happily to my wife and kept her sane whilst Jeff, Steve and I went on about cars!
He will be very sadly missed by all on here, but above all, Angela and I send our heartfelt condolences to Sandra and all of his family.
Rest in peace Freddie - it was a privilege to have known you

Just like everyone else I'm knocked sideways by this, I met Freddie a few times and always found him a delight to chat to..
Deepest condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.

Just checked on the chill out zone and someone mentioned about Freddie straight away I dropped what I did and I'm completely lost for words.

So sad too hear of his passing , I never met him in person which I was hoping too do so next year, we talked quite a bit on his Rover P6 build Freddie loved his cars and took great pride in keeping them in such great condition.

and a true friend.

He will be missed greatly Condolences to his family.

Like Jonty I met Freddie a number of times at the Kings Lynn meets and he was a true gent and always willing to assist and give some advice.

Sad news indeed.
