I'm glad I'm in the South West Freddie - local forecast for home is a bit evil tonight.

We've been to the Lost Gardens of Heligan this afternoon - very interesting if you're into trees, flowers and vegetables. The coffee shop was a bit pricey though - £2.50 for a standard latte

Decided to have a takeaway from the site shop tonight - so SWMBO is having a ham salad with cheesy chips, and I'm having the 'ultimate Tregarton Burger" - 4oz lightly seasoned burger produced from cuts of British and Irish beef, topped with melted cheese, smoked bacon, caramelised fried onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and an onion ring - served with chips. The burger is costing me the princely sum of £5.95
Needless to say, 'twil all be washed down by a bottle of cider - Thatchers Haze

Evenin' all, It's been warm/humid all day albeit cloudy, the winds picking up & the sky is looking dark, looks like rain isn't far away.

Just read the Beebs weather & there's weather warnings in place for 'storm Hector' here overnight & tomorrow, I'd better shift me tomato plants.

Evenin' Andy, I've always liked fig rolls too, they're the sort of biscuit you cant just eat a couple.

I'm in the conservatory & the roof panels are flexing like crazy in the high wind.
