Default Brakes renewal

Think I'm going to have to change the brakes all round before next MoT (still a couple of months off). I've already invested in TRW discs, pads and shoes (as I'm generally impressed by the quality of TRW parts) and also the little fitting kits + 1 litre of DOT4 fluid.
Can anyone tell me what else I'll need? Is it a good idea to renew/update the brake hoses at the same time (pipes are still in good condition thankfully)? Any other little bits and pieces I should do while I'm at it? I'm thinking about changing the back-plates as well - they're not that bad, but it may be a good idea to change them over and refurb the old ones for spares, given their propensity for corroding..

Cheers.
Karl.

Thanks Klarzy. I think there are a few pins in one of the little fitting kits I got off the bay - fingers crossed!

Thread moved to appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as things get 'buried' very quickly in the General Forum.
