Help - I think I am sick....
Doctor doctor....Help me....I keep polishing things....I have even started stripping my brakes down and fitting new discs, polishing the inside of my rims to within and inch of their life...for no apparent reason other than to make them look good.
Doctor says I am suffering a severe case of 'luvusmymgrroverustoomuchotitus' Attachment 979 Attachment 980 Attachment 981 Attachment 982 Attachment 983

I have my wheels off every month to clean inside them....
but I have got a touch of OCD when it comes to detailing..... try a few coats of wax on the inside of them to keep them looking fresh. |

Just spent 5 hours washing and waxing my baby today. Didn't do the inside of the wheels, ran out of steam.

5 hours? That all....
Pah.... I had an 8-hour marathon session the other month. Complete wash, wax, top coat, wheels, interior, windows (inside and out) engine bay, suspension, exhaust, inside of glovebox and cuby holes, spare-wheel well and surrounding area. I've even been known to remove my bumpers to clean the "inside" face of them..... Call me an OCD man, but I do lurve a my car being clean. Which reminds me, some bird pooped on my bonnet today... |

That all....??!
First 'proper' clean I started at 10:30am and called it a day at 19:30pm. But then that did include rinse, shampoo, clay, shampoo, polish, seal and finally wax. Also shampooed and polished the alloys and cleaned all door shuts, under bonnet panels, boot, etc. And I did the interior the following day...complete Gliptone treatment... And a top tip for those hard to shift scuff marks on light leather seat backs...JML Magic Eraser...four quid from Woolies...works like a charm...
