Sunroof Drains Tube Leak Solved

HI Yann.
Not stupid at all, the one facing downwards is the inner wind drain tube, these some times have a small flap on them too, if so snip it off as well I have just started to add the photo's to the thread again today check out page one

So I tried removing the arch wheel liner last night but panicked as I wasn't confident with what I was doing so I put it back.

HOw much should be peeled back exactly? I was worried I was going to take too much off and not be able to put it back. I probably got 3/4 of it off but still could peel it back enough to see anything.

Hi Yann.
It sounds like you are peeling the wheel arch liner back enough, sometimes it's better if you jack the car up and remove the front wheel, even then you need to look up at an angle to see the tube as in the photo below, hope this helps, don't worry pull with vigour

Many thanks to all who have posted help in this thread. Today I have snipped of the ends of the rear sunroof drains on my tourer and rodded them through. One had water in it the other seemed to have accumulated muck but was dry. Hope not to have to disembowel the load space; a wet test when I get t outside will show. Did the first of the front ones some time ago, it was detached in the drivers side foot well, the passenger side I did a few days ago after finding water on the mat at the front; could be that the gutter around the roof was overwhelmed and overflowed. It was parked at the garage for an MOT and their car park is on a slope.

This has been a great thread and saved me hours of grief sorting out my wet floors, so thanks.
I did the white nylon connector mod a some while ago now which worked a treat but I have now found soaking n/s floors again.
It turned out to be the bulkhead grommet/socket has perished on the outside of the bulkhead enough to allow water to soak back into the interior and needs replacing. Question is does anyone if these items are available anywhere as Rimmers don't have them anymore. Or perhaps there's an alternative from another model?

Just use a standard grommet and extend the pipe through the bulkhead

Certain brands of standard hose pipe fit perfectly
100mm length

I would just like to thank Artic for his perseverance in putting up with all us newbis continually flooding there cars...talk of repetition!!! (not forgetting Jules))) All I can say is Thank you.... OK that being done.. I took no notice... and my car flooded... but how could it ? it being a 2003 car surly it must have been modded by now,,, NO it had not .. my previous old banger may have had a blowing exhaust ,wonky electrics,and holes in both sills and rotten sub frame,,but worse headling reastin on my head But it never Ever leaked!!! my newer SE with lovly sunroof (I love sunroofs ((normally ((((when they bwork and do,nt Leak))))Honestly its alovely old car ,,in BRG ,,,whats not to like!!! so I did not take anynotice of all these doommongers...Hell I wish I had ,,Come the rains I noticed steaming on the inside and you all know the rest... Water water and plenty of it.. On reading the remedy,I was quite apprehensive ,,carpet out half the dashand seats is just the beginning...I,m not a mech or anything like but I,m a have ago hero .OK so its boxing day I bought the connectors but have lost them thought about using hose pipes ,rethought that cannot be right so back to the script... the carpets are now dry and driver side is done(well not quite but will be tomorrow) ... That the position as of now boxing day evening ,,, the seats are in the living room and make great occasional seats ... I am dreading putting everything back cos I know something will be wrong and all have to come out again...Rover Rover I could throttle you!!!!
