I used those relatively new Flash "blocks" which you dampen - £1 for 2 at the Pound shop........

So good to know I'm not the only one to admire clean wheel inners........

Also give all my black suspension components a rub over with wd40 and a cloth come MOT time, gives a good impression, but they know me well and they think I'm sad as well.

Turtle wax but once you have polished the car and the soft application rag is wet from the polish, its that I use on the black bits. I also polish up the ali pipes with Duroglit every six months. I wash top down and wheels last. The wheels are done with a sponge everything else is with a mitten then shami'ed down and I never apply polish in the sun.

Its nice to see that I am not the only one with a compulsion to polish things.....just noticed mikes thread showing R40 being polished to death.

It really is in the detailing.....ask anyone who has ever entered a concourse competition and they will tell you stories of mind boggling obsessivness when it comes to prep work....stories of divorce and marital alienation are common.

Maybe thats why I sleep in the shed.

Beautifull cars gentlemen.....come on........ lets see some more results of your obsessive polishing!

Those under the bonnet shots of the diesel have inspired me...the neighbours will definitely think I've got kangaroos in the top paddock now...

Very clean Tim, very clean...
