Curing Squeaky seatbelts
I've been meaning to take care of a couple of annoying noises in my car - the door card rattles (I'm guessing new clips should sort this out) and the the arm that the seat belt socket is on squeaks as it rubs against the side of the ('leather') bolster on the front seat squabs.
Any ideas for solving this latter one? I thought maybe sticking felt or somesuch to the side of the seat could work, but has anyone come up with a good solution?

I had the same problem with both seat belt sockets.
I covered mine with black self adhesive felt and the problem was cured! Still suffering from loose door cards thought even after renewing all the clips. ATB Andy |

Evidently great minds really do think alike
Apparently not so with supermarket planners though, I've just spend ages trying to find some black velcro in asda. Of course, being a man, I naturally couldn't possibly have asked where it was!
