Broken Pier

Shot this recently. The broken pier in Aberdour, Fife. Thankfully it was quite foggy so it helped to give it a muted look and hide the distractions on the horizon. You can just make out Inchkeith Island in the background. I think it works quite well. One of my better black and white pictures I think. I find these pictures very hard to take and edit.

Nice shot Rav. a neighbour of mine has a not dissimilar picture on her wall, not of your pier though.

Very nice long exposure Rav

I might be as bold to suggest cropping a little of the sky out perhaps to move the horizon and due to no detail it won't be missed

Thanks, Paul. I do try and then just see what happens...I do have a bad habit of not looking at my pictures properly on the camera screen as it is too small. I'm just about to purchase one of those wifi memory cards so when you take the shot, it will instantly upload on my iPhone or iPad. I carry my iPad with me and the screen on that is a lot bigger so I will be able to look at the picture properly.
