Morning everyone. It's a bit grey & overcast here.
Sorry to here about the gearbox woes Freddie, besides being a pain in the neck & wallet you must be in the middle of the show season. There was a big oil leak on the 65 Thunderbird I bought, whoever had it before me fabricated two channels with brackets that took the oil leak away from the exhausts, it was very well made I'll give him that It turned out to be the rear main oil seal on the back of the engine when I stripped it down. I was watching a series of short films last night made by British pathe called 'wizardry on wheels' and the 1960's Earls court motor shows which had a few P6's in them. Boy did we British have a great selection of car manufacturers back then what happened British pathe have uploaded over 85,000 films to youtube, there are some really good motoring ones from back in the day which bring back great memories. Believe it or not I still hanker after a Austin A40 it was the car I passed my driving test in. Right! moggies to feed, one of them was hanging out of the open bathroom window this morning they're like flamin' monkeys half of the time There's a new supply of Bury black puddings in the fridge so I'm going to make a pig o meself for brekkie

Evening all, that's a begger about the gearbox Andy, must be something in the water with gearboxes lately.
Lovely evening here now, nice cool breeze blowing, I've been watering the plants because the broadband has been playing up, one minute it's OK the next nowt!!!! this has been happening for around three weeks now Virgin are usually very reliable here, I don't know if they're carrying out work or something I snowfoamed the cars & took the conservatory slat blinds down & shoved them in the washer, they look & smell a whole lot better now dunno if the people I bought the conservatory & blinds off smoked but they're spotless now I've left the missus to do the fiddly bits putting all those plastic weights in & connecting them all up to one another I'm having a few bottles of cider & a big bag of nuts. Roast chicken, Jersey Royals & corn on the cob for tea tonight.
