Default Got caught speeding

Yes, I've been a bad boy.
A few weeks back I ticked the 'it was me driving' box and sent it back. Today I received the letter I'd not been looking forward to.

To my surprise they have offered me an alternative to the £60 and 3 points. It's a driving safety "crash" course (made me laugh anyway).
All I have to do it sit through a 3 hour lesson and pay £60, no points on my license.

Anybody attended one of these before?

A friend of mine did a couple of years ago. He thought everyone should be made to see it and to somehow include it in the driving test as a must see.

The Films are very good idea, they should be shown on Written exam, Ken.
They are a serious meet to show what can happen, and a no show of understanding does not go down at all well.
It also is a once only offer you won't get offered it on any future "Event"

I think my cruise button has saved me many many points.

It works on speeds right down to 25 MPH.
Should be a standard feature on all cars....... Driver can be watching the road instead of "heads down" at the speedo.
