text on photos,

As I am not too familiar with the tricks of photos / computers, I would like to know how to add text to photos before printing, I have got Windows 2010, and I am a little bit fearful of downloading free programs to allow text on photos, al advice greatly appreciated. Fred

Hi.
You should be able to do it with "Paint" - a standard feature on Windows OS.

Or you could download https://pixlr.com/desktop I use this aswell. No problems.

ps I just use the Free one.
