No! Never had one in all the years I have been travelling on the continent. So far as I know, the only place you really need one is Spain.

Default A bit late

Just sorted breakdown cover for this trip and surprised to discover that Saga had breakdown cover along side it's car insurance that has no age limit on the car. Happy days.
What spare bulb kit would I require to stay on the right side of the continental plod.

With Saga car ins too, I'll have a peek at this. As not sorted out any yet,😳

Seen a few horror stories about car recovery, that doesn't fulfil its promises.

Apparently they use RAC who quoted me 78 pounds for the duration of our trip, with saga it was only 90 pounds for full cover until my policy ends in mar 2020. A no brainer me thinks

I have just cancelled my traders policy after 15+ years as they wanted a stupid increase, I too have gone with Saga and took the breakdown cover too.

Just a little update regarding the Best of British show at Boxtel..
Copy of email received from Olaf this morning.
Entry is 5 euros per car inc passengers and on hard standing so will need to sort out some underwheel flagpole supports
Cheers Ian

Hello Ian,

I was on holiday but I received your mail. Nice to hear that you are coming with this amount of cars! You can pay the money when you arrive. Off course it is no problem to use flags and banners. The parking is on hard standing.

I am looking forward to meet you.

Met vriendelijke groet, / With Kind Regards, / Mit freundlichen Grüßen,

I carry two ordinary spare bulb kits from Halfords or anywhere else you can get them. Not very expensive. All I do now is every time I use one I buy a new one
Simples.
