Thank you I shall do. The spade connector on the side of the motor was quite corroded and was difficult to slide off an on so I'll start there.

The the hosting site, Tinypic, closed down. Try contacting Arctic, he will probably have the originals.

Hi Steve
I hope everything is alright.
If possible I would like to ask you for help...
My starter is having the typical symptoms of the failure that is reported in this thread and if possible I would like you to relocate the initial "how to" photos (posts 1 to 4) to remove, repair and replace the starter in place

Thank you for pointing the thread out for me i have been meaning to catch up on some of the missing pictures from my how to's and you caught me in the mood , so i have started the first phase

Just want to say thanks to Arctic for the incredibly clear and detailed instructions here (and his other posts I've followed). I have just replaced the solenoid on my V6 ZTT and would have struggled without this thread.
