After struggling and failing all last weekend to get the post cat o2 sensor off I gave it one final go today.
It's off! Wooo! replacement fitted, just need to reset the warning light and take her for a spin. I'll also start bedding in the new handbrake shoes

Found the fault with my ABS light.

TOAF showed it was the rear left so I had a look...

So a new hub unit (FAG part) was ordered from ebay and fitted today.

Job's a gudden.

Took Mo for her MOT.
She passed
Two advisories, timing belt needs changing. I knew that. And the anti roll bar bush is worn but not dangerous. I can do that when I change the damper assemblies.
Quite a happy bunny today

Went to the local scrapper today, got a passengers seat belt to replace my very slow rewinding one. While I was there I got a full set of chrome rubbing strips to replace the colour coded ones on my 04 plate facelift, was dismayed by the price for new clips to hold them on from Rimmers. Found some "genuine" ones on e bay, cheaper than Rimmers but still £1.52 each with postage Still it will look more classy in my opinion.

Collected it from the garage where they fitted a wishbone, tank strap and door latch (supplied by me) and an unexpected ARB, and an A/C regas (first time I've had it done.)

That's it for spending money on you. Are you listening, hmm?

Until the next time...
