Morning all, terrible nights sleep due to finding a neighbours dog turning our security light on!

A 2 mile drive at 01:00 to return said hound, then wide awake for ages before I nodded off.

I'm doing nowt today after maulin' with them flags yesterday, It's a no pants & socks on day (until my missus gets up)

for me because I cant bend down.

My heart goes out to my elderly neighbours, guess they're in their late 70s/early 80s. He doesn't like sitting around, always keeps himself busy, his wife is now deteriorating rapidly with dementia. When she isn't at a local day centre she just sits along with their dog on guard duty looking out of the window. I was shocked the other day when she actually asked my wife "are they your dogs?"! He has a hell of a job with her, there's talk of her going into respite to give him a break. It was shocking how I lost my parents but least we didn't have to go through that.
