It's called a bonnet bra, and it's designed to prevent stone chips.

bought a pair of rear Ferodo Coat + discs, and some green stuff pads to put with them
They're for Mo.

I really like the green stuff pads, I use them in my other cars. They will be going in the Rover when it needs them.

Default Engine cover mod.

I finally refitted the engine cover after I made a small modification.
I noticed a couple months back the cover was cutting into the power steering hose.
Despite my attempts to move the hose slightly, I decided it would be easier to do this.

Thanks,I learn something new every day. I don't go fast enough to be troubled by stone chips.

This morning I've taken the near side headlight apart to see why it's pointing into the sky, there was a bit of plastic loose but I can't see why it would have affected the light adjustment as its just a pushrod. I also noticed someone has definitely been in it before myself.

Is out possible the adjustment motor has 'popped out' forcing the beam too high?

Anyway I've manually adjusted the beam again but I won't be able to tell easily if it's sorted until night.

Took Kim for a drive up to Woodall services. I waited until 01:00 so I wouldn't lose my parking spot.
There is a spare wheel on F/O/S which vibrates between 65-70mph. I'll need to get that balanced properly.
Apart from that, one of the new door cards rattled. Looks like I'll have to take it off again and check the studs.
Got back home at 02:40 and yes, someone had parked in my spot
What kind of nutter drives round at daft o clock in the morning anyway?
