Rover 75 key remote

On my original key remote which is playing up there are 2 buttons the one on the left is for locking/unlocking, what does the big button in the middle do, anyone know.

Big button unlocks, little button locks

If it an original 75 key should be two symbols, small button with a padlock which locks the car and a large button with the Rover emblem on it which unlocks. If there's no Rover emblem on the large button its a replacement key.

The Rover logo was deleted Steve after project drive, so later keys were just plain
