ITS WAR
As you know, for a while I've suspected long tails in the walled raised part of the garden, saw two of the hairy little bast.... tonight, bold as brass, under the bird feeders munching away on fallen sunflower hearts. Air rifle out, they disappeared as soon as they saw me but I patiently waited, one reappeared, had a shot, missed but gave the little bugr something to think about. If I don't nail one or more over the next few nights I'll think about some kind of chemical warfare! |

Morning all, we have a rat in our garden too, disappears for a week then another hole appears and he darts in and out of it!

I thought I'd better pop in and say good morning whilst the little hand on the clock is still to the left of 12. Threatening to be a brighter day today - the low cloud and mist that's been hanging around for a few days has give way to a brighter shade of grey, and there's even an occasional glimpse of a watery sun.
Managed to book my clutch master cylinder job and the caravan service yesterday - just the caravan wash/valet left to sort.

Well, the biopsy . . . . never happened I got a letter about the appointment few weeks ago, it advised to read the enclosed information sheet, had to phone up to get them to send one. Info sheet mentions stopping taking the likes of warfarin and says the doctor will have checked any regular medications you are taking and will have advised you if you need to stop taking any of them. I'm in the ward, usual pre procedure checks, handed another sheet of paper about the procedure, mentions aspirin. Err, excuse me, I'm on aspirin and nobody said anything about stopping it. Oh, the nurse went to check. Came back, can't go ahead, I should have been advised to stop the aspirin 7 days before the procedure. Felt sorry for the nurse having to pass on profuse apologies from the doctor. Now awaiting another letter!
