Rover 75 tourer rear shocks
Hello, everyone.
I am in need of rear shock absorber for my 75 tourer cdt. I have read some posts that say that the rear shocks differ for tourer and saloon and wanted to know is this true? And since they are really hard to find where i come from i also wanted to know if they are interchangeable with different cars like for example e46? |

There was a post a while ago about E46 shockers.
Personally I would stick with genuine if you could. https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...d.php?t=175680

Ok, but how about fitting the saloon shocks to a tourer? Are they compatible?

Think the rear shockers are different between saloon and tourer.
The tourer is designed to carry more load than the saloon. https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=60560

According to dmgrs who sells mgr stuff the answer is yes.
Have linked to his site for rear shockers for mgzt and rover 75 tourer and saloon. https://www.dmgrs.co.uk/collections/...0531-rpd108411

strange question this may seem. When you ask do they fit is that actually what you are asking or are you asking how well they will work and if so how well?
Fit yes, but they may not give the same ride. macafee2 |

I fitted a pair of saloon shocks to my Tourer as at the time They were the only ones I could get,I found NO discernible difference in the ride..
