Default Seat Belt Warning light

Posted on behalf of a new member in Argentina

My name is Alejandro, I live in Argentina.

Since 1 year I own a ROVER 75 SALOON 2.0 cdt, at the time of purchase was in good condition but lack of maintenance, due to the lack of T4 (there is no in my country) lack of spare parts and restrictions on the import. In this time I was able to buy several pieces on ebay.

Thanks to the information in this forum, I managed to solve problems (I am an enthusiast, I am not a mechanic or electrician) how to connect controls to the steering wheel of the stereo, connect cruise control, repair brakes, clutch, alternator, repair windshield wipers, I could also make projects , adapt and install rear electric blind, sun visors with light, interior lights, lights for foot space, change of taillights, add new entrances 12 v, new 7 "stereo screen.

NEXT PROJECT. ARMAR CABLEADO, to connect the safety belt warning light, in 2010 you made a publication on the subject, perhaps, if you can or want to, it could be my guide.
DATA: 3 cables. Green. Purple / red And black
Green wire to fuse 33
Black wire to second pin of connector 550 (fuse box)
Purple / red cable to connector 230, pin 12 of the instrument panel.
QUESTIONS:
1 - What kind of cables should I use?
2 - What is the second pin of connector 550?
3 - What is the connector 230?
4 - The pretensioner, is compatible with the pretensioner of another car? (bmw or other)
This is the first time I write to someone, I have a bit of shame. I hope not to disturb and that is the right way to communicate, I do not know what are the methods of communication in the forum, I only read, but as I said before I have little information about my Rover 75.

Congratulations on the forum
Best regards from another part of the world,

PS: Excuse me for my english, it's googl

You need the pretensioner that has the extra connector.

make sure you get the correct side for the drivers seat.

If the wiring isnt in place you'll have to add it in

Thanks, David,
I have the correct pretensioner. I found connector 230 (it's the white one) on the instrument panel, pin 12 is free for the purple / red cable.
I need to know, WHERE ARE YOU CONNECTED? The black wire, to finish the connection.: duh:

The black/slate cable goes to chassis ground.
