Good Afternoon All,
Just recently I have been constantly getting the following error messages on my Navall Star: 1: unfortunately, google play services has stopped. 2: unfortunately the process com.google.process.gaaps has stopped. How do I go about sorting this problem please? Many thanks Tom.

Hi Tom That is almost certainly a CACHE issue Do a reset or disconnect from Car battery overnight Once you have google play working I would connect and download a CACHE Clearing APP For Car Head Units regards Sean |

You might consider re-installing the firmware. I have had to do that on the NavAll 1 and that always cures the Google play services error and the "process xxx stopped" error.
PS. I stopped connecting the unit to Google services (or any other online service) and that seems to work to keep the unit working. HTH

Strange thing modern technology, switched on this morning same result as yesterday google error still present, no sound, front panel switches not working.
All of a sudden sat nav starts working and Kate is giving me instructions and now everything appears to be working again, with the exception of the google error. Tom.

Have you recently changed your google password, I usually get this when I do.
I remember everything else but always forget the car. |

You need to update google play services on the device to the latest version. No battery disconnect will fix the issue.
Clearing the cache for google play services in apps will temp resolve the issue. Settings > Apps > All apps > Google play services > Tap on clear cache > Tap on Manage space > Tap on clear all data. Also try clearing the Google Services Framework cache. |
