Thanks mike and klarzy.. do have to remove rear brake caliper to remove the rear disc... only asking because got scraping noise from the shoes so wanna check it out.. thats why i asked about the adjustments

Yes but there are only two bolts holding it on.

I like the bit in the Rover instructions about driving down the road and pulling up the handbrake 5 notches!
After performing Arctics handbrake mod I doubt if a gorilla could pull my leaver up 3! Thanks Arctic Doc

Carefull you do nit pull the cables out of the backplates!! or snap them

One thing I've done whilst following the h/brake adjustment how to, is remove the calliper. You can feel 'drag' from the disc pads and it may mislead you, thinking it's shoe drag.
