Default rear hand brake

Has any1 got a pic of pdf of how to adjust rear hand brake please

You did ask for the info and Klarzy has provided it, but the common problem is that the compensator stretches, and so you won't succeed by following the book according to Rover.

Arctic (Steve) and HarryM1BYT provide two solutions, either of which, once fitted will enable you to adjust the handbrake back to like it left the factory.

Thanks mike and klarzy.. do have to remove rear brake caliper to remove the rear disc... only asking because got scraping noise from the shoes so wanna check it out.. thats why i asked about the adjustments

Yes but there are only two bolts holding it on.

they should rub just a little...

To obtain the SSC the member will have to be a full member or posted a minimum of 50 times, posts must be of good nature ie helpful or good quality questions, not just wow that great, or I did that once etc sorry just the way it is Arctic.

I like the bit in the Rover instructions about driving down the road and pulling up the handbrake 5 notches!
After performing Arctics handbrake mod I doubt if a gorilla could pull my leaver up 3!

One thing I've done whilst following the h/brake adjustment how to, is remove the calliper. You can feel 'drag' from the disc pads and it may mislead you, thinking it's shoe drag.
