Default washer pump

Only had the ztt 160 v6 for a week but have no screen washers, looking at the haynes book, diag 8 it show F9 as 5A, pump supplie, but the fuse covers shows this as a 10A
Q1 is there many mistakes like this in the Haynes manule
Q2 is the pump the most likey problem and if so where to buy one or would it be the stalk switch

Thanks

If the pump runs, check the washer jets have not blocked, a pin pushed into the holes often works.

Hi Paul.
It is most likely the little filter on the bottom of the washer bottle, the pump is pushed into it and it get clogged up with slime etc from using washer bottle additives.

You can remove the bumper and check it out or you can peel back the wheel arch liner and take a look that way, get some one to work the stalk and see if you can hear the washer bottle pump working if so check the above either was you will need to remove the bumper or peel back the wheel arch liner.

After that you can check the front spray tubes on the bonnet a pump is useful for this.
