Fuel gauge problem!
Hello !
My Name is Alex! It is my first post. I send my regards from Greece to all club members in the forum. I own a rover 75 2.0 v6 i have since long time a problem with the fuel gauge. What can be done? |

what is the problem with the fuel gauge. not working at all ? moving days after the fill up? ( like mine) |

I think all 75s have two fuel senders - one on each side of the tank. If both are faulty, check the wiring connector underneath the right-hand rear seat. You need to remove an access panel.
You should also check the gauge on the dash is OK. There is a test that will light up all dash lamps and move the gauge needles. Holding the trip reset button, turn the key to position I: the display shows "test 1.-". Release and press the button repeatedly until the display shows "test 19.-": wait for it to change to "Log I -off" and press the button immediately. Press the button again until it shows "Test 2.-" and press the button again. This will test the dash displays. I just noticed there is another thread running with same info - sorry for duplication.
