I recently sent a paypal payment as a gift to a genuine club member so that they did not incur payment fees, however what may not generally be known is that for a 'gift' paypal charge the same fee, but to the sender not the recipient.

Thought this was one the case if payment secured against a credit card rather than a bank account, I've never been charged for a gift payment
