Default MG7 Rear lights - any news ?

Does anyone have anything to report on these ?, 1 member had them on his car at the national meet at Beaulieu ( apologies but your name escapes me ), and the guy from X part ( sorry again about the name ) said he would look into getting some.

Can we make contact with him ( X Part ) and see if any progress, i will do if i know where to find him.

Whilst on the subject do we know when the MG7 will be in the UK as surely a parts network will need setting up and may be/ is already planned ?

somewhere in China is a spares depot carrying these and between us we ought to be able to find an address and order some - anyone speak the lingo ?

If they put them on ebay would do a roaring trade.

We need to keep them away from ebay and hold within the club. Is there a list started?

I'm up for a set of these also. Is there any point in starting a list of interested members?

Geoff11 - how did you modify the lights so that the "blown bulb" warning isn't displayed on the IPK?

It could be done with high power resistors in parallel with the LEDs, but I'm wondering what your solution was.

Don't forget that they would have to be modified so that the "blown bulb" warning isn't displayed on the IPK. That could be done with high power resistors in parallel with the LEDs so not really a big problem.
The chap that has them fitted has not encountered this problem, so possibly no modification required?
