Default Spent a few happy hours in the sunshine this morning

Cleaning some of the more "fiddley" parts of the '75

Waiting for some slightly cooler weather now so I can give the engine bay it's annual deep clean (battery box out etc).

WOW - that's dedication. I must try mine now I have seen yours. What do you use on the door latches? Chrome Polish?

Your 75 is looking as stunning as ever Cliff. I have another job to do as well now having seen the photo of the door catches.

Lovely job - I do clean those areas from time to time - albeit not to that standard - it takes ages and the neighbours start giving odd looks of sympathy as if I've 'lost it'.

Presumably you re-grease the bonnet catches after cleaning? (and the hinges)

Cheers Clyde. As you know, there's always some other little area left to clean just when you think you've covered everywhere. Hope to meet up at Duxford and maybe swap Nevving tips.

My neighbours are well used to me by now. I think they would worry more if they didn't spot me at least a couple of times a week cleaning various parts of the '75.

Oh, and yes, both areas regreased after cleaning. But not too much - don't want to attract any unwanted dirt.

I have polished the door catches on my ZTT as well now.

Before:

After:

My neighbours are also used to me being outside cleaning my ZTT and often come across to have a chat and look at my ZTT.

A good improvement there Clyde. Your ZTT gets nicer each time I see it. :-)
