Default Well wish us luck ... MOT in the morning

Finally got some insurance cover and managed to get a MOT booked for Tuesday Morning .............................. so fingers crossed .

Well as I said a new unknown acquistion is always a bit nerve wracking.

Any was she failed on 2 things:-

1) O/S lower arm bush

2) O/S head light beam indistinct

Headlight is sorted although I had to take the unit out to put the clip back in correctly. Fun and games that was.

Try as I might I cannot get a socket or spanner onto the front bolt of the mount. Got the rear bolt lossened or rather cracked off. So decided to remove the arm but again it's fighting me. Got hub bolt out but the hub will not lift off the arm. Looks like will ahve to bolt it back together and pay a garage to fit the new rear arm bush/mount and I thought it would be retested this afternoon but nope .

Well she is at the garage now where he will sort it out tomorrow morning.
