Over the course of the weekend Fri-down, direct,Mon home, stopped off at Manchester Airport for a spot of Aircraft spotting 520 ml,altogether £100 worth of fuel, whatever that relates to roughly, with the present fuel prices, didn't think that was too bad for 2.5 V6 Auto with cruise.

Best Regards.

John.

142 mile round trip in my diesel auto Tourer (no cruise), including over an hour queue to get in, done on £16.50 fuel on brim to brim. Well pleased at 47mpg.

Show was great as usual, but the schematic of Club stand rather inaccurate, which meant I ended up with other 75s near the MG and Heritage stands, until I found and joined you after lunch! Just wonder if I aim to arrive after noon next year I will avoid that queue, or whether everyone else will have the same idea!
Having queued so long, like everyone else, was surprised that so many cars started leaving from 2pm, only to join a queue to the exit!

430 miles and did 40.3 mpg brim to brim. Not bad for a 2.5 v6 now is it

did the whole lot on half a tank.up to pol from Suffolk.left pol sat night for the forty odd mile run over to Hinckley .went to xpart on the sunday then the 100 odd mile run home,i hit the magic 60 mpg on the ipk on the way up only for it to drop to 39 5 due getting stuck in the que to get in for a hour and a half.for this reason I have now decided that will be my last trip to this meet.

It pays to arrive early at Cofton Park. I arrived at 0915, after chatting to a couple of others we were in and parked up. Had the kettle on by 0930.
