Colour !
Visited my local Jaguar dealership yesterday to collect some touch-in paint for one of my intruders. On arrival, I noticed how socially distanced all their cars were (usually rammed with nowhere to park), and that they were all in monochrome colours. As I went in, I noticed a late middle-aged couple talking to a salesman about a new purchase. When I came out I overheard him ask what colour they fancied - the lady immediately pointed to my Trophy Blue ZT, and said that was what she liked. "But Madam" replied tha salesman, "that is not a Jaguar". It may not have been, but I confess to feeling slightly smug.

If you look in any car park you’ll see a sea of silver, white, black and grey. There is the odd splash of red or blue, but it’s mostly a bland monochrome world.
I agree Trophy Blue is an excellent colour for a ZT and they are a very eye catching car amongst the modern grey blobs. |

The current trend for bland colours is, well.....bland.
More than once I have stood back and watched my wife try to open the door on someone else's boring white SUV. Hers is a Kia but they are all so alike you can hardly tell them apart. I do love my Solar Red ZT, and Volcano Orange MGF. They stand out in the sea of blandness.

Not just with cars Rich - try and get a kitchen in any colour but bland.
We ended up going second hand to get what we wanted, aubergine and cream, as the supplier had just stopped production when we were in the market. |

the house next door to me came up for sale several years ago, I viewed it and it had an originals 1970's kitchen fitted in RED cupboard doors. Was very retro, wish I'd taken a photo before the new owners ripped it all out!
