The first link is interesting Gary, it shows of 6500000 currently active cases, 61000 are serious or critical......... so 1%.

So if we assume everyone in the world is infected, then there will be 78 millions deaths as a result???

Or perhaps not, it's not to say that the 1% will die, but that they are gravely ill, so there is a chance of recovery.

It's too late or should I say early to worry about such things

Not so sure it is that simple I'm afraid. This is a new virus and I'm not certain it is fully understood, hence the difficulties in dealing with it as well as a somewhat less than a sympathetic public.

As I type there is more news on travel and countries being added to and from the quarantine lists with people complaining their travel arrangements have been ruined. Really? What do they expect?

If there's one thing this situation has highlighted it is the stupidity and arrogance of the public.

Oh and the perfidious press.
