One day we will look back at this madness, shake or heads and think:

"What on earth possessed us. And how did they do it?"

One day.

After all, they once burned witches and thought the earth was flat.

We overcame that.

Mostly

You'll have to try harder than that to convince me the worlds not flat.----

Or perhaps not, it's not to say that the 1% will die, but that they are gravely ill, so there is a chance of recovery.

It's too late or should I say early to worry about such things

Not so sure it is that simple I'm afraid. This is a new virus and I'm not certain it is fully understood, hence the difficulties in dealing with it as well as a somewhat less than a sympathetic public.

As I type there is more news on travel and countries being added to and from the quarantine lists with people complaining their travel arrangements have been ruined. Really? What do they expect?

If there's one thing this situation has highlighted it is the stupidity and arrogance of the public.

Oh and the perfidious press.

That's two.

To emphasise the point:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-53832981

Mortality is very low, as is the hospitalisation rate. Something has changed big time, although the rise is still worrying," says Ildefonso Hernández, a professor in public health from Miguel Hernández University in Alicante.

To defeat one's enemy one has to both know and understand it, think we've a bit to go yet.

Not just here in the UK treatment for other forms of diseases have taken a back seat:

The pressure this situation has placed on ALL aspects of society has yet to manifest itself.

God help us.

Bit of Self-Assessment needed then.------

Good name--"The human race".---Seems like we're hell bent on self destruction.

We might even win.---
