Morning all, That's my jobs done for today as it's getting too hot now. Pulled some potatoes up I planted from a shop bought salad spud out of that planter I made earlier on in the year Better crop from that than the seed potatoes I bought.

Going to make some potato salad with some of those to go with a tinned salmon salad for tea
Good job you cant smell this stuff It stinks like blocked drains.

I made some more comfrey tea liquid fertiliser for the greenhouse plants, They thrive on this stuff.

The good news for the day is that mother to be daughter has lowered her sights on the pram/pushchair/buggy/car seat purchase - we're now down to a three figure sum

I bet you still couldn't make a bogie with today's pram wheels, The big pram wheels of my childhood were a coveted item & we used to drag our Mam to every jumble sale in the district to see if there were any cheap prams for sale

Aye them were the days - we didn't have any drills in our house, so the easiest way to get the holes for the front axle to be attached to the main body was to burn them into the wood with a poker heated to red hot in the coal fire.

Cool

Evening all. Not had the best of days, spent most of it in bed and asleep. Some sort of bug along with a stinking headache. Just had a soup for my tea. Watch a bit of telly then back to the pit.
