Bit like the technician that says Rad-Weld is OK in the cooling system.---

If a sealant was necessary in the air-con system then I guess it would have been designed in.-----

After-market additions to just about anything have this strange tendency to cause problems.--

Didn't intend to start an argument, just passing on what I was told...

Never get an argument out of me. I'm a seeker of the truth.-

There is so much to learn out there but filtering the fact from fiction is the real art.

The only thing that's going to stop me learning is death.

This is a ---'help your fellow forum members if you can'--- place.

That's what drives me. Help the R75 drivers save a few bob and maybe Learn something along the way to their benefit.--

Blessings upon you my son. Was definitely NOT having a dig at you.---

I purchased my compressor from www.quantex-uk.com

I spoke to a guy called Chris, he was super helpful. The compressor arrived well packaged and pre-filled with oil ready for fitting.

Really glad you managed to get it sorted. Took mine on a 400 mile drive a couple of days ago in this heat, lovely cool air all the way!

I don't think he's reached that stage quite yet Rob!
I'm interested in the outcome of this one although since a new drive belt will no doubt be fitted and tensioned (see my earlier thoughts) we may never be certain of the cause. Change only one thing at a time!
