Default Chimes not working for anything

On the ZT, and despite going through everything on TOAF, I'm getting no chimes or buzzer for any function e.g. lights on/door open, key in/door open etc. I've searched without result.

Is the sounder an actual piece of hardware or part of the IPK?

Dougie.

I would say it is inside the speedometer if this is anything to go by Dougie

I'm not at home at the moment, but decorating the daughter's new flat, however I have a spare speedometer which came with my new car which you are welcome to have if you need it.

That's extremely good of you Chris. Just hold fire because I may be getting offered an unsoldered sounder from a duff IPK which I'll probably be able to fit to mine, and that would save a T4 trip as well as your spare working speedo.

Dougie.

A huge thank-you to Chris/ADO282 who has generously sent me his spare IPK. It arrived today and I've unsoldered the sounder already. Hopefully I'll be all sorted by the weekend.

Thanks again Chris.

Dougie.

You are most welcome Dougie, to be fair I don't think I would have been able to use it in any case, and I'd much rather someone make use from it rather than sending it to landfill.
