My injectors haven't been running right for years.

Even with a good clean out they clog up and start dribbling again.

Leading to black smoke and poor acceleration.

Send me you email addresses! I got a very little something for you that might cheer you up a bit ( a very little bit )

Fing hilarious. I love the way you just slip them in and they kind of ambush you days later!

Unlikely to matter really as you're not likely to be wanting to rev it any more.

However, good luck with whatever you decide to do.--

Hey thanks Jon, I'm still in two minds, as not being able to rev it is my worry.

Doc say's us men can survive on one, the remaining one picks up the slack so everything still works.

My daughter and her husband came over to visit us in France intending to take a weeks holiday here.

They were two-up on a motorbike. They missed the turn off to our house by a few hundred yards. They swung round to re-trace their steps but on the wrong side of the road.

Seconds later they ran straight into the front of a French car. The son in law slid forward under the weight of his body and that of my daughter. His important bits were severely crushed up against the bikes fuel tank.

Only one testicle survived.-----

I've never heard any complaints at all from an incident that happened almost twenty years ago now.

As you say the body adjusts and one can do the work of two.

PS. They both spent their holiday in a French hospital. ( The bike did not survive. )

I think you have to consider the age of the motor. Mines an old vintage classic and so before I get to the revving I have to have the Mrs hand cranking while I'm faffing around with the choke...

Update on this, I've just had the call, I'm booked in next week for surgery, Orchiectomy it is then. If this doesn't work, then I don't know what's going to happen.

I was at the hospital 7 weeks ago having a pulse radio-frequency nerve ablation to the ilioinguinal nerve. They sent electric pulses down the nerve and heated the nerve to 42 degrees, but sadly it didn't work, it actually left me in worst pain.

They say having a testicle removed is a walk in the park, it's no big deal, but then I read about how losing one nut can have a massive impact on a guy emotionally. I know when I had the varicocelectomy back in June, I couldn't walk for 3 days, and I ended up back in hospital for a week on morphine, I really don't fancy going through that again.

I've been keeping myself busy these past few months knowing that this day would arrive, and now it's here I'm sh**ing myself. If anyone has some words of encouragement they wish to share, I would be ever so grateful.

Cheers everyone.

Cool

Sorry to hear this Wes. But chin up mate, stiff upper lip and all that. Let’s hope this works this time. Good luck for next week.

Thanks guys.

What concerns me a little, is the fact that I've had more than a dozen visits to hospitals this past year during the pandemic, than the 15 years I've had living with this pain, why wait this long to treat me?

I guess I should be thankful they are helping me now, I just hope I'm doing the right thing.
