The F56 has a different box compared to R50/R56. Statement on auto boxes Bit like HGF they all do that.

My son picked up up a R50 auto recently for peanuts that the owner was convinced the the gearbox was broken. After resetting the adaptions car is working perfectly and now years ticket on car, what a bargain. For a 2002 vehicle I have never seen such a clean car underneath.

As opposed to this, which is a solid colour, and looks like British Leyland "Bracken"

She like the blue one though
Blue is a really nice colour, and those orange colours are poles apart I should have known really as my FL2 is tambora flame as opposed to the orange they have on the defender.

I am sure your good lady will enjoy the car good luck

You're sure you want one of these? These cars aren't know for their reliability. Some versions are assembled over here in the Netherlands with production stagnating for good reasons...

Nice car, I hope Chris enjoys her ‘mini adventure’ (see what I did there) Petrol is definitely the way to go. As much as we disliked the issues with the Paceman it was all diesel related. A petrol clubman was second choice as a replacement for the MG

I wouldn’t worry, Brian has been repairing Rovers for long enough, a new mini can’t be worse than that!

Hmm, unreliable ?

From the UK's leading consumer magazine. Perhaps I'm biased as I have three (R50,R56,F56) in the family and not one of them has let anyone down even the oldest one (2002) model has many years left on it.

Thanks for boosting our economy, no complaints here! There just was a recall for timing chains wearing out way too fast and there are many known electrical problems. The latter aren't much of a problem though and maybe you've been lucky.

All three cars in family are made in UK not Cloggy land Designed, Engineered and Built in UK with probably lots of bits from all around the world and the UK, but nothing new there.

My family model years cars 2002, 2007, 2019 so a fair sample I would say. However I assume the consumer magazine has a much larger sample to give the facts on the high reliability rather than my statistically low number of 3 sample rate or your hearsay.
