A few pics from todays meet:
Thanks to John for organising things and tempting me to spend some cash: I've now ordered a set of those show plates. Look forward to seeing everyone again soon, and best wishes to Derek & Lilian who weren't able to make it today - didn't seem right without the two of you in attendance! Cliff

Shame you had to sell the '75, but you'll still be welcome at the meets. Cliff

Hi Cliff. Excellent pics as usual you do the cars a great credit. We were very light on the ground this time, Derek and Lilian couldn't make because Lilian has a severe ear infection, Gus and Lyn didn't stay for lunch, Gus was on crutches be cause of his operation. Never the less we must thank John Howard for putting this meet together, In the end there was just the three of us for lunch, and had a very interesting conversation with John, about his life in the Ambulance and Fire Service, John it was a pleasure to listen to you putting so much into your life, Dawn and I hope that Mo was alright when you got home. John has been offered a stand at Clandon House in July further information can be gleaned from him. Dawn And Julien |

I was sorry to hear Lilian was poorly and her and Derek we unable to come along, get well soon Lilian you were both sorely missed and Gus with his bad knee playing him up still after a knee joint replacement, it was good to see you and Lyn sorry you could not stay for lunch. Get that knee sorted, I have booked you in to run the Reading half marathon next year Gus.
So then there was three eating, Julian, Dawn and myself, I think I bored them both with the storey of my working life, but it is a problem once I get talking I don`t know when to stop, the Sunday roast was great and we three had a nice meal together. It would seam that there is a lot going on next month in May and some members are attending other meeting and some happen to fall on the same Sunday we usually meet, therefore, we will have to change the May meeting at The Ely to another Sunday, I will see when it is that most if not all the members are available and book that Sunday. Great pictures it looks like there were more cars there than there was.... I personally will be attending the Reservoir meeting on the 30th to have a chat with the guys who are kindly displaying their cars at Clandon in July. Thanks again and drive safely where ever you are journeying to.
