one sensor failing does not mean all have failed. however, the system will not operate with one sensor down. currently I have 3 clicking away, with 4 not. loom tested by swapping sensors.

Its mostly the earth wiring loom on the later 2003 > cars where by Rover reduced the wiring to a single earth which splits underneath the bumper and thus corrodes. Buy a replacement loom if this is knacked. An earlier loom has the full set of earth wires to each sensor from the ECU which is located in the drivers side rear wing.

Sometimes, like my old ZTT, a sensor does fail. It is best to get one of the t4 guys on here to locate the faulty sensor (BigRuss superman did mine!) and then replace it

My fault was a single sensor playing up. It wasn't the sensor itself but the plug attached to it, wobble the plug and it worked. Was fixed with a new plug soldered in and heatshrunk.
