Yes Nick, John Wilcox originally bought both 05 and 07 from Longbridge. The shell of 05 was sadly vandalised whilst in his yard.

As for 07, it's a bit like the duck paddling at the moment - a lot has being going on under the surface but not much showing above the water at the moment! OH and my bank account has already taken a large hit. But seriously we now have the majority of the required parts and Messenger is on the verge of popping the engine and gearbox in. Will post up some progress pictures, then.

Looking forward to seeing the progress pictures.. Hope you have decided to keep your lovely facelift 260 also.. Quite a collection you are building.. Wish I had the space for a few more myself, but two cars, a van and a motorbike is to much already!!!

Perfectly savable IMO.

Get yourself a busted kv6 mg zt, and thats the body panels sorted, interior, hell everything bar the drive train and engine.

If you can restore 007 in that state, the 005 could be done at that stage also!
