That's because for all this time she's been able to do as she likes while you were out at work and now you can see what she's been up to day to day, she doesn't like it. Lounging about watching Jeremy Kyle etc.

Fair play, if you can afford to why not. What's a good day to drop the 75 off for a clean?

Good luck Stu. Great if you're financially able. Health for me should mean that I was retired but an extra 7 months added by the recession means I don't officially retire till January 2020. It's unlikely though I'll ever be fit enough beforehand.

I found I can manage on much less money when retired, than when I was working. I have much more time to shop around and more time to do things I might have needed to pay someone else to do.

Working, I never even considered using buses despite having a free pass. I couldn't spare the time to wait for them, nor the travel time on them, but now I use them a lot and the car sits in the garage unused, much more.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Well done Stu, enjoy your retirement!

If you find that you're spending too much time with your beautiful MGF, I can help you out buy taking it out of your way!

Planning on taking the MGF to Gretna this year, as I am organising the meet, and of course, don't want anybody to vote on my car, so will give it a run out, and maybe the car will clock over to 30k during the journey

Stu

See you in a fortnight at Gretna

congratulations. Everyone should aim to be retired before they need a zimmer frame to get them about. Keeping busy is very important.
Alas for some money is a key issue and prevents them retiring early.

Here's to early retirement and those that get it by choice, cheers
