Rover 75 mk1 bonnet catch
My bonnet catch has failed
In as much as the smaller spring rusted and subsequently snapped Which in turn means the the plastic arm doesn't now spring back through the grille Has anyone found a fix for this scenario? I'd rather replace just the spring than the whole catch assembly I'm also assuming the slam panel needs to come off again in order to repair/replace too Regards Chris |

Chris
I had this if you can get the lever out with a screwdriver drill a small hole in it and fig a cable tie to stick out sou you can drag the catch up Scott Sent from my SM-T530 using Tapatalk |

Easy enough to just pop the bonnet & then push your fingers under the gap, push the hook back from the bonnet loop.
