steering lock help please

Tried to take key out of the ignition but the ignition came out followed by the metal circular piece followed by the bent metal piece that keeps the lock off
Will it go back to gether like **** it will!

I just had to change the steering column after failing to get my barrel out ! (I lost my keys)

Once the sprung "arm" that keeps it in is no longer sprung....it wont readily keep it in.
